The Garrison Eagles Golf team has been operating in Kingston for 10 years.

An athlete joining the team must be able to carry their golf bag short distances and be willing to abide by the dress code set by the golf course.

If you are interested in playing Golf, you will be practicing with your team to improve your skill and fitness levels every week

You will also be able to take part in the Family Day end of season event every year.

On a 3 year rotation, there are qualifiers for Provincial and National Games that athletes can strive for.

Registration for Golf takes place during Summer Sports Registration in April. If you wish to begin once the season has begun please contact the coach to see if there is available space on the team.

Honoring Lance Rushworth

The Garrison Eagles held a memorial for Lance Rushworth our Golf Head Coach who died of cancer. Sept/09/2016.  A tree has been planted in his honor on the fairway between the 1st and 9th Tees (we know this would have made him smile having ANOTHER tree to navigate around).

The Garrison Eagles athletes, their families, caregivers, and coaches came out on Sunday September 8th, 2018 to show Lance's family just how much he meant to them.

Lance got the golf program up and running and with his knowledge and coaching skills brought the Garrison Eagles athletes to a high standard. His coaching really showed on the course as our athletes were complemented on their golf etiquette. sportsmanship, and of course their golf skills as well.

The Garrison Eagles will continue to move this golf program onward to have fun and achieve more great things in the future.  The athletes will not let Lance's hard work go to waste, as they will keep trying hard each time they go out on the course to improve their game to show everyone that Lance's efforts are appreciated and thought of every day.

as Lance's memorial plaque reads "Loved by All   Missed by All"
